Introduction to the Kidbrooke Station Square Development
The Complete Group was entrusted with the full groundworks and drainage package for the regeneration project at Kidbrooke Station Square. This state-of-the-art development is a vital part of the ongoing transformation in the Kidbrooke area, aimed at revitalizing residential squares and enhancing public spaces.
The Vision: A New Community Hub
Designed by the award-winning Glenn Howells Architects, the masterplan envisions a vibrant community featuring 619 new homes within a vacant four-acre site located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Phase 1 of the project is currently being delivered by complete group in collaboration with Ardmore, which is developing 413 homes aimed at different ownership models, including private sale, shared ownership, and affordable rent.
Addressing Engineering Challenges
The development encompasses six new blocks with impressive brick-built façades, extending up to 16 storeys, thoughtfully clustered around beautifully landscaped podium-level courtyards. A complex civil engineering approach was implemented to address the unique challenges posed by the sloping brownfield site. This included extensive slope retention work and the incorporation of a public footbridge, ensuring both safety and connectivity.
The partnership behind this ambitious scheme, known as Kidbrooke Partnership LLP, represents a dynamic collaboration between TFL and Notting Hill Genesis, signaling a new era of urban living in Kidbrooke.
